Vladimir Danishevsky, Head of Corporate Bonds Flow eTrading IT at Citi, is a goal oriented and productive IT professional with broad spectrum of knowledge and experience. From the Saint Petersburg Institute Institute of Chemical Technology, where he attended a Master’s Course in Mathematics and Computer Science, and the MBA and Finance at the Rutgers University, he moved in the Financial Industry and he has applied his quantitative skills at both boutique consulting companies and leading bulge bracket firms.
He is now mentor of developers with the aim of facilitating the delivery of models that optimize trading functionality and systems for corporate bond trading for US, EMEA, and APAC regions. With his culture of commitment and focus on excellence, Vladimir became a respected leader and presenter in multiple occasions, including Global Financial Markets Intelligence 2015, A-Team Intelligent Trading Summit 2016, New York Association of Software Engineers Machine Learning and Electronic Trading 2015, New York Trading Show 2016 and Terrapin Automated Trading 2016.
With his extensive experience he mastered a unique set of skills, which includes leading the development of ultra-low latency trading systems for various asset classes, including equities, FX, futures, options, commodities, and fixed income. At Citi Vladimir is now routinely pursuing ways to use technology to deliver profitable growth, building profitable trading businesses and state-of-the-art execution platforms that are at the forefront of the financial industry.
